The Remixes
A 12 track nu-disco album (1h 17m 10s) — released December 4th 2015 on Ism Records
Alena is an East London based singer & songwriter who conjures up beautifully soulful based dancefloor gems with a modern flavour. She has found a kindred creative spirit in ISM & Midnight Riot Records & label boss Yam Who?. In 2011 with the release of 'Changes' including the Ron Basejam remix she has become the queen of the boogie scene. Here for the first time, Ism reprents a stunning selection of remixes from the likes of Inkwel, Ourra, 80's Child, Leebo Freeman, Yam Who?, Planet Jumper & of course the amazing 'Learn To Get By' from Ron Basejam. Alena is heavily releasing authentic slice's of mid '80s Brit-synth-funk boogie and very, very catchy.
She is currently in the studio writing & producing her full length album for a 2016 release.
